Information on card use
- All merchants are subject to Hyundai Card's merchant registration and classification standards.
- Hyundai Card is committed to fulfilling the product description
- Application of multiple credit cards within the same period may impact your personal credit score, credit limit, etc.

Extra services offered with the card, including points and discounts, cannot be changed after new launch of card (November 27, 2023). Notwithstanding the forgoing, card company may modify extra services under the following situations:
- In case of inevitable circumstances such as temporary business suspension, bankruptcy or business crisis of card company
- In case of inevitable reduction or change of extra service due to temporary business suspension, bankuptcy or business crisis of partner and it is impossible to provide similar extra service through another partner.
- In case of partner goes against the will of card company and reduces or changes the concerned extra service and a different extra service is proviided that is equivalent to the initial extra service
- In case profitability of product drops considerably due to the concerned extra service after the extra service has been provided for at least three years.

If card company changes extra service, the reason for the change, details of the change, etc. will be immediately posted on the website ofter occurrence of the cause of the change and notified by at least two methods of individual notification methods. In particular, if an extra service is changed due to being unable to maintain the conncerned card's profitability and at least three years have passed since new launch of card, a monthly notification will be provided in at least two methods starting six months prior to the change takes effect.

- Annual fee will be charged when card is issued.
- Card annual fee (base fee + partnership fee) will be charged for each card you own.

In the case of delinquency on your payment, an insterest consisting of the agreed-upon interest plus 3% overdue rate will apply. (The delinquency interest depends on your credit rating and the type of your card. The statutory interest cap of 20% will apply.)
Provided, that there is no agreed-upon interest at the time of overdue, below standards are applied.- Lumpsum payments: Agreed-upon interest for interest bearing installment plans over the minimum period (2 months) from the date of transaction plus 3% overdue interest
- Interest free installments : Agreed-upon interest for interest bearing installment plans over the same period from the date of transaction plus 3% overdue interest.
- Be careful not to use your credit card more than you can pay back. Otherwise, your credit rating may decrease.
- A decrease in your credit rating may lead to disadvantages in financial transactions
- Failure to pay back your principal and interest for a certain period of time may lead to your obligation to repay the entire amount of principal and interest.
- If you fail to meet the requirements for credit card issuance (such as arrears and low credit rating), you may not be issued a card.
- Card bills and all accompanying fees fees shall be paid on the prescribed due date.
- Pursuant to the Article 19-1 of Act on the Protection of Financial Consumers, you are entitled to receive an explanation regarding relevant products or services as a financial consumer.

· Card annual fee (base fee + partnership fee) will be charged when your card is issued and for each card you own.
· The base fee covers expenses associated with the issuance of your card, such as printing and delivery, and will not be refunded when you cancel your card if it the fee for the first year.
Costco Reward Point Earnings
What is Costco Reward Point?
Costco Reward Point is an exclusive points program where points are credited based on spendings. Earned points can be exchanged for vouchers and used as a cash-equivalent at Costco stores.
Earn 1% Costco Reward Point for spending at domestic/overseas merchants, if the previous month's spend is KRW 500,000 or more
- Basic benefits apply to all domestic and international merchants, excluding those eligible for additional rewards(Costco stores and online mall).
- No earning limits apply to these benefits.
Earn 3% Costco Reward Point for spending at domestic/overseas merchants, if the previous month's spend is KRW 500,000 or more
- When using at merchants or categories for Extra benefits, Basic benefits are not provided as duplicate

Important Notes on Basic & Extra Benefits
- Both Basic and Extra Benefits are excluded if the previous month's spend is less than KRW 500,000
- For newly issued cards, benefits will be provided regardless of the previous month's spend until the end of the month following the card issuance month
- All merchants are subject to the merchant registration and industry classification standards of Hyundai Card
- Please refer to "Benefit Criteria" for calculation of previous month's spend amount
- International brand fees and overseas service fees are excluded from the previous month's spend calculation and are excluded for Costco Reward Point accrual.

Criteria for previous month's spending
- Previous month's spend is the sum of lump-sum and installment payments made with the Costco Rewards Hyundai Card Edition2 (both Primary and Family cards) from the 1st to the last day of the previous months.
- Total amount of installment payments and partial payment carry over option (revolving) are included in the spend for the relevant month of the initial transaction approval date.
- Total spend amount may vary in the event of delayed merchant sales captures or transaction cancellations.
- Cancelled amounts are deducted from the spend of the approval month, not the month the cancellation occurred. If a cancellation causes the previous month's spend to fall below the requirement, benefits for the current month will not be provided.
- Transactions from merchants with post-approval systems (e.g., public transportation) are included in the spend for the month in which the sales slip is received.

- Long-term card loans (card loans), short-term card loans (cash advances), annual fees, various service fees, interest charges, public dues and taxes (national taxes, customs duties, local taxes, non-tax local revenue, water and sewage bills, fines, penalties, stamp duties, service of process fees, civil document issuance fees and other levies imposed by the state or public organizations), electricity bills, city cas bills, apartment maintenance fees, private kindergarten tuition, elementary/middle/high school fees, university/graduate school tuition, automatic payment service fees, purchase of gift certificates or other cash-equivalent securities, top-up amounts for prepaid cards, health insurance, national pension, employment insurance, worker' compensation insurance, mandatory employment levies for the disabled, highway tolls, post-paid HiPass card usage, express bus fares (including on-board terminal and mobile app payments), and interest-free installment plans

Reward Accrual Timing
- Points will be credited within 2 to 10 days from the payment due date or the date the payment is completed.
- For prepayments, points will be credited within 2 to 10 days from the date the payment is completed.

Other Criteria
- Points are calculated per transaction by rounding to the nearest whole number. (Points earned from Family card usage are consolidated into the Primary cardmember's account)
- Rewards are applied based on the order in which the sales slips are received by Hyundai Card, not by the actual transaction sequence
- Even if a rewarded transaction is canceled, it will remain excluded from the annual earning limit until Hyundai Card officially processes the cancellation (the annual bonus limit can be restored only after the cancellation is officially received by Hyundai Card)
- For partial interest-free installment plans, Costco Reward points are earned only for the portion which the service fee was paid.
- Usage and Manage Criteria of Costco Reward points are subject to Costco's policy

Exchange Period
- Vouchers are automatically generated based on the Costco Reward Point earned until Oct 31st every year, and sent via mobile from the first business day of December.
- Sent voucher can be viewed at "App > Menu (top left) > My Benefits > My Voucher"
Exchange Criteria
- If accrued Costco Reward Point is 5,000 point and above, vouchers are issued by rounding up to the nearest 10 points.
- e.g.: If accrued Costco Reward Point is 9,876 point, provided voucher will be 9,880
- If accrued Costco Reward Point is less than 5,000 point, the points will be carried over to next year.
- If points are carried over, a voucher will be provided for the total combined amount of the current year's earnings and the previous year's carry-over, even if the sum is less than 5,000 points (no exchange limit applies).
How to use
- Use as a cash-equivalent at the checkout counter of Costco stores after ID verification
- Voucher is valid for 12 months including the issued month
- Any remaining balance after deducting the voucher value from the purchase amount must be paid with a Hyundai Card or cash
Important Notes
- Vouchers are sent to the primary cardmember, and only available to the cardholder
- ID verification at counter is required for use of vouchers. If the name on the voucher does not match the name on Costco membership, vouchers will not be available for use.
- Vouchers are unavailable on counters with no membership verification such as Costco Online mall or Costco Food court.
- If purchase amount is less than voucher value, the difference will be refunded in cash at Costco stores
- Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be leased, assigned, or inherited.
- Accrued Costco Rewards Point cannot be used for other purposes than vouchers

Important Notes on Card Usage
For overseas transactions (including spends at overseas websites), the amount in USD is converted into KRW by applying the initial posted T/T selling rate of the settlement agency bank on the date of processing. The billed amount in KRW includes the international brand fees (Visa 1.1%) charged by the brand networks and overseas service fees (0.2%) charged by Hyundai Card. Please refer to Hyundai Card website for more details on international brand fees.
Calculation of Overseas Transaction Charges
* Overseas transaction charges = (the amount in USD x T/T selling rate1) + International brand fees2 + Overseas service fees3
1. T/T selling rate: the initial posted T/T selling rate of the settlement agency bank on the date of processing
2. International brand fee = (the amount in USD x International brand fee rate of 1.1%) x T/T selling rate
3. Overseas service fee = (the amount in USD x overseas service fee of 0.2%) x T/T selling rate
How to block Dynamic Currency Conversion(DCC) services
Paying in KRW at overseas merchants (DCC) may incur extra fees. Please opt for local currency or USD.

- Annual fee of Family cards is subject to annual fee standards of each card product
- Up to 5 family cards can be issued, and the international brand must be the same as that of the primary card
- Spending requirements and benefit limits for each supplementary service are applied on a combined basis for both parimary and family cards. All other criteria remain the same as those for the primary card.
- For year-end tax settlement, spending on a family card is credited to the family member (The one named on the plate), and annual income amount is determined in accordance with National Tax Service
- If the primary member wants to receive notifications on usage of family cards, a separate application is required through the Customer Service Center(1588-7300)
- Address and means of delivery for primary cardholder applies to the billing statement of Family cards
- Miles for family cards are credited under the SKYPASS number of the primary cardholder, and mileage transfer is subject to Korean Air's policies.

Family cards can be suspended or cancelled in the event of change in family relations (diverce, death, dissolution of adoption, etc.) at Hyundai Card website, app or Customer Service Center.
Provided, that cancellation procedures through website and app can only be undertaken by the primary members, and suspension procedures are only available through Customer Service Center- Website > Account > My Cards > My Card List > Cancel a Card

- At the request of the primary cardholder, family card limits may be adjusted, or the cards may be suspended or terminated without the consent of the family member

- Please note that funds deposited into your payment account after the bank's business hours (4PM) may not be withdrawn on the same day depending on the institution's circumstances, potentially resulting in delinquency.

You can still make same-day payments after the auto-debit deadline by using Instant Payment on Hyundai Card's website and app, or by transferring funds to a designated deposit only (virtual) account (remittance payment)
