Notes
- The minimum charge for a single transaction is at least KRW 100K to receive Extra Benefits. (Charges cannot be combined together.)
- Basic Benefits will be applied if a partial cancellation of a transaction of KRW 100K or more at a merchant subsequently changes the final charge amount to be less than KRW 100K.
- For purchases at merchants where Extra Benefits are applicable, only Extra Benefits will be applied (Basic Benefits will not be applied).
- Merchants are those registered with Hyundai Card, and business classification as defined by Hyundai Card.
- Hyundai Card is committed to fulfilling the product description.
- Applying for multiple credit cards within a same period may impact your credit rating, personal credit score and/or credit line.
- Additional services offered to you when you use your card, such points and discounts, will remain in effect without any reduction or discontinuation for at least three (3) years after the card’s initial launch (April 11, 2025).
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, we have the right to modify our additional services if:
- Inevitable circumstance due to business suspension, bankruptcy, severe business hardship of the card company
- Additional services are reduced or changed inevitably due to relevant business partners business suspension, bankruptcy, severe business hardship and when it is not possible to provide comparable additional services from a different partner
- In the event a business partner reduces or changes relevant additional services against the will of the card company, if other additional services comparable to existing additional services are provided
- After at least three (3) years since providing the additional services, product profitability has significantly dropped due to the concerned additional services
- In the event we make changes to additional services, the reason for the change, details of the change, etc. will be published on our website immediately after the reason arises, and individual notices will be sent out through at least 2 methods.
- In particular, if we decide to change the additional services offered on your credit card because we are unable to maintain the card’s profitability, you will receive a monthly notification in at least 2 of the following methods starting six months before the date of the change, provided that three years have passed since the card’s launch.
- Method of individual notification: in written form, postal mail or email, telephone or fax, mobile text message or any other equivalent electronic communication
- Your annual fee will be charged when your card is issued.
- The fee (Basic fee+ Partnership fee) will be charged for each card you hold.
- In case of delinquency on your card bill, an interest consisting of the agreed-upon interest plus additional delinquency interest (3%) will be applied (The delinquency interest will vary by customer and the product used and be capped at the statutory interest maximum of 20%).
If there is no agreed-upon interest rate at the time of delinquency, the following will apply.- For lump sum payments: Agreed-upon interest applicable to interest-paying installment plans for the minimum installment period (2 months) as of the date of your purchase + additional delinquency interest (3%)
- Excessive credit card use compared to your ability to repay may lower your personal credit score.
- A drop in your personal credit score may lead to disadvantages in your financial transactions.
- If you are delinquent with your principal and interest payment beyond a certain period, the entire amount of principal and interest may become immediately due and payable.
- If you do not meet certain requirements (e.g. in arrears, have low credit score), you may not be eligible for a credit card.
- Card purchases and any fees associated with your purchases shall be paid back by the designated payment date.
- Pursuant to Article 19.1 of the Financial Consumer Protection Act, a financial consumer has the right to receive explanation about a product or service, and you should listen carefully and fully understand the explanation before engaging in the transaction.
